The favor of God is not a reward for perfection; it is a gift of grace. Favor is God placing His hand on your life in such a way that doors open that no human could force, protection surrounds you where danger once threatened, and opportunities come that you didn’t qualify for naturally.
Favor is God going ahead of you. It’s Him speaking to hearts you haven’t met yet. It’s Him rearranging circumstances while you’re still praying. Favor doesn’t mean you won’t face resistance, but it does mean resistance won’t stop God’s purpose.
When you walk in God’s favor, you may not always be the strongest, the loudest, or the most experienced, but you will be chosen. Favor causes God to distinguish you, just as He did Joseph in prison, Esther before the king, David in the field, and Mary in obscurity. The enemy may try to convince you that delay means denial or that hardship means God has withdrawn His favor, but scripture tells a different story. Often, favor is working quietly before it manifests suddenly.
God’s favor does not remove process, but it guarantees purpose. It does not eliminate waiting, but it ensures fulfillment. The same favor that saved you is the favor that sustains you, elevates you, restores you, and keeps you.

This is not your typical fast! You can choose what food(s) you're going to fast from. My advice is to fast from the food(s) that has you in a chokehold. Whether it be fast foods, sodas, bread, coffee or energy drinks, the Lord will give you strength! You are allowed to do a Daniel Fast too. Fast for 24 hrs. a day or from 6 AM to 6 PM, skip meals, etc. Let the Holy Spirit help you decide what your 40 days of fasting will look like.
