Day 1 of 40 Days of Glory and Fasting

There is no better way to enter into a fast than with praise, thanksgiving, and worship! It sets the tone and lays the foundation for everything. This morning, we intentionally took our focus off what was going wrong and placed it on the One who can fix everything that’s wrong. That’s exactly what Paul and Silas did! They prayed, they sang, and they fixed their focus on Jesus. And as they did, everything and everyone that held them hostage had to let them go.
As we prayed through our foundational scripture for today, Psalm 24, we didn’t rush it—we prayed it all the way through, declaring the Lordship, authority, and glory of God over this fast and over our lives. Tomorrow we will conclude our time of praise, worship, and thanksgiving!
Day 1 Declaration:
Amen. Thank You Father. You are my Alpha and Omega. You are my Abba Father in whom I trust. Thank You for Your Perfect Love. You are my First Love. You are in me and I am in You. Thank You Father that You have chosen me before the foundation of the earth. You are who You say You are.
You give to us when we asked. We thank You Father. You takr our burdens, our stressess, our worries and turn it into testimonies in Jesus Name.
