Day 20 of 40 Days of Glory and Fasting is complete!! Join us for days 21 and 22 as we pray for those dealing with addictions.
Fear causes you to be delayed concerning the plans and purposes of God for your life. It will direct your life if you are not careful.
Here is the replay for today:
Fear can become a stronghold in your mind.
Read Judges 6 and Judges 7 NLT
Fear will cause you to lose everything you possess and everything that the Lord wants you to possess. This demon is out to kill, steal, and destroy your life, and it will if you let it. We must be reminded that God has strengthened us for the assignment just as He did with Gideon. We are not doing it in our own strength, we are overcoming in the strength of the Lord!
Don’t let fear rob you of your destiny. Many of us have found ourselves like Gideon, asking for confirmations from God and getting them but still not moving forward. Three times Gideon received confirmation; how much sooner could he have overcome had he obeyed the first time? Not only was he delayed at overcoming but in Judges 6:27 NLT it says that he obeyed but he took an alternative route because he was afraid. When facing our fears, we must face them head on. When we fail to do so, it can often cause us to be delayed in overcoming.
Lastly, Gideon had to get rid of a few people that were not fit for the assignment to overcome. Could that be you? Has the Lord revealed to you that it was time to let go of seasonal relationships, but you are afraid to let go? Ask the Lord to give you the strength and courage to let go of people who are not fit for this season and next season of your life. Ask the Lord to show you the people who you need to let go of? What is the very thing the Lord is calling you to do? Is it ministry, a new business, buying a new house, investing in yourself, or even starting school, what is it? Whatever it is, it is time to just do it in the fear of the Lord!! Don't hold back! No more holding back!

This is not your typical fast! You can choose what food(s) you're going to fast from. My advice is to fast from the food(s) that has you in a chokehold. Whether it be fast foods, sodas, bread, coffee or energy drinks, the Lord will give you strength! You are allowed to do a Daniel Fast too. Fast for 24 hrs. a day or from 6 AM to 6 PM, skip meals, etc. Let the Holy Spirit help you decide what your 40 days of fasting will look like. Please consult your physician for any medical advice and/or before starting any type of fast. No medical advice will be given from myself or my team.
