“For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds,
Job 33:14–15
Dreams are one of the powerful languages God uses to communicate with people. From Joseph to Daniel, from Jacob to the wise men, Scripture shows us that God often releases direction, warning, confirmation, and destiny through dreams. While not every dream is from God, every God-given dream carries purpose.
Sometimes dreams reveal what our waking minds are too distracted to hear. In the stillness of the night, when striving ceases, God speaks clearly. Dreams can awaken dormant callings, expose hidden fears, or ignite fresh hope and faith. You can even receive deliverance and/or physical healing in a dream!! They remind us that heaven is always working, even while we sleep.
Yet dreams require discernment. God’s dreams will always align with His Word, produce peace (even when challenging), and draw us closer to Him, not into fear or confusion. When God gives a dream, He also gives grace for interpretation and patience for timing.
Just as Joseph’s dreams were not fulfilled immediately, some dreams unfold in stages. Delay does not mean denial. A dream from God may pass through testing, pruning, and preparation before manifestation. What God shows you in a dream, He is faithful to perform in His time.
If you don't dream or if you’ve stopped dreaming, ask God to restore your spiritual sight in the night. He is the God who causes us to dream and to dream again! God is still speaking.
May you have ears to hear, even in your dreams.

This is not your typical fast! You can choose what food(s) you're going to fast from. My advice is to fast from the food(s) that has you in a chokehold. Whether it be fast foods, sodas, bread, coffee or energy drinks, the Lord will give you strength! You are allowed to do a Daniel Fast too. Fast for 24 hrs. a day or from 6 AM to 6 PM, skip meals, etc. Let the Holy Spirit help you decide what your 40 days of fasting will look like.
