Angelic Help: God’s Invisible Assistance
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 1:14 (NIV)
Angels are not myths, symbols, or distant stories of the Bible, they are active, obedient servants of God. Scripture makes it clear that angels are sent by God to assist, protect, deliver, strengthen, and carry out His will on behalf of His people. They do not act independently, and they are never to be worshiped but they are assigned by God.
From Genesis to Revelation, we see angels showing up in moments of danger, transition, warfare, and promise. They shut lions’ mouths, strengthen weary prophets, roll away stones, announce breakthroughs, and guard God’s people. Angels move at the command of God, and often in response to faith-filled obedience, prayer, and the Word of the Lord. We don't command angels to be dispatched; we ask the Lord to dispatch them for us!
Many believers struggle unnecessarily, not because God is absent, but because they are unaware of the help He has already released. When Daniel prayed, the answer was sent immediately, but angelic help was engaged in spiritual warfare until the breakthrough manifested (Daniel 10.) This reminds us that delays are not denials and that heaven is often working even when we cannot see it.
Angels are not replacements for God’s presence, nor do they override our responsibility to walk in faith. But they are evidence of God’s care, order, and protection. When we walk in obedience, rest in God’s promises, and declare His Word, angelic assistance is activated according to His will. Today, take comfort in knowing you are not alone. Heaven is engaged on your behalf. God has dispatched help, seen and unseen to ensure that His purposes in your life are fulfilled.

This is not your typical fast! You can choose what food(s) you're going to fast from. My advice is to fast from the food(s) that has you in a chokehold. Whether it be fast foods, sodas, bread, coffee or energy drinks, the Lord will give you strength! You are allowed to do a Daniel Fast too. Fast for 24 hrs. a day or from 6 AM to 6 PM, skip meals, etc. Let the Holy Spirit help you decide what your 40 days of fasting will look like.
