Day 32 of 40 Days of Glory and Fasting is complete! | THE THEME: "Don't forget what I said!" - God

Jesus taught us that some mountains must be spoken to and cast into the sea Mark 11:23.

Those are mountains of opposition, resistance, and obstruction, things that exist to stop the will of God in our lives. There are moments in life when it feels like an immovable mountain stands in front of you, cycles of oppression, chronic sickness, financial pressure, family conflict, or long-standing delays. Scripture reveals that not every mountain is natural. Some are demonic mountains, spiritual strongholds raised to resist the will of God and intimidate the people of God.

Jesus spoke directly to mountains in Mark 11. He did not suggest negotiating with them or learning to live beneath them and be controlled by them. He commanded His disciples to speak and believe. The authority was not in the size of their faith, but in the object of their faith which was God Himself.

Mark 11:24 teaches us that prayer is not wishful thinking; it is alignment with heaven’s verdict. When you pray in faith, you are not trying to convince God, you are enforcing what He has already authorized. Demonic mountains remain only where believers doubt their authority or delay their declaration.

However, scripture also reveals another kind of mountain. Some mountains are not meant to be removed. Some mountains are meant to be ascended.

Micah 4:2 tells us: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord… Then God will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths.”

This is not a call to warfare; it’s a call to transformation. We must be able to discern the

assignment of the mountain.

If every mountain were cast down, we would miss:

  • The teaching that only comes through elevation

  • The perspective gained by climbing

  • The endurance developed through pressure

  • The intimacy formed when God becomes our guide, not just our deliverer

Not every mountain is resisting you. Some mountains are hosting you.

A mountain of opposition says, “You don’t belong here.”

A mountain of instruction says, “Come up higher.”

Micah says people from many nations willingly go up the mountain of the Lord, not to fight, but to learn His ways.

This mountain:

  • Produces alignment, not anxiety

  • Releases instruction, not intimidation

  • Sends people back transformed, not just relieved

  • What you learn on this mountain doesn’t stay there,

it flows out to the world, your homes, and your bloodline.

  • You’re not being attacked, but stretched

  • You’re not blocked, but disciplined

  • You’re not under warfare, but under instruction

  • You may not be facing a demonic mountain at all.

  • You may be standing at the foot of a divine one.
