Maybe it is not a demon or a sickness!!!

Some believe they have a demon issue or a sickness issue or a money issue when that is not the case at all. They have bound up and loosed everything they can name with little to no change. The story below wasn't about a demon problem, it was about a faith problem. Ask the Lord to increase you in your faith. The scripture says that lack of faith means: "lack of trust and confidence in the power of God." Ask the Lord to show you how to trust Him and have confidence in His power. When this happens, I believe you will see breakthrough. Then it mentions fasting and prayer………. fasting increases your faith. Fasting puts you into expectation for God to move. If you have no faith, then fast and pray. Fasting is a channel for faith to flow.

Mark 11:24 tells us to believe first. I believe more people would receive if they would believe. Ask, believe, receive……..and fast.

Matthew 17:14-21

Amplified Bible

The Demoniac

When they approached the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, kneeling before Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic (moonstruck) and suffers terribly; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to Your disciples, and they were not able to heal him.” And Jesus answered, “You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed at once. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why could we not drive it out?” He answered, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you, [a]if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. [b][But this kind of demon does not go out except by prayer and fasting.]”

Mark 11:24 ESV

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received[a] it, and it will be yours.
